Hi, I'm Laura – a Registered Dietitian, Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD), and Certified Personal Trainer who is passionate about helping individuals achieve optimal health and well-being through personalized nutrition and holistic care. I believe that nourishing your body goes far beyond simply counting calories or following meal plans. It's about finding and embracing a way of life that honors and fuels your body's unique needs.

Apart from my professional roles, I deeply value my role as a wife, mother, and follower of Jesus Christ. I live on the side of a beautiful mountain in Northeast Pennsylvania with my husband, son, daughter, and two golden retrievers. The great outdoors is my favorite place to be, and fall is most definitely my favorite season. Strength training, running, creating simple/quick/yummy recipes, and spending quality time with my family are a few of my favorite things to do. As a working Mom, I understand the need for quick and easy nutritious options, as well as general flexibility, to find a healthy balance and achieve sustainable changes.

My Approach

My approach is rooted in holistic wellness and functional, integrative care. In my counseling, I emphasize the importance of eating to support nutrient diversity, blood sugar balance, and inflammation reduction, as well as improving hydration, movement, sleep quality, mindfulness, and a healthy relationship with food. I commit to providing a judgement-free zone, understanding and support, honoring your unique path and needs. Over our first few sessions, I help you to create and build upon a solid nutrition education foundation. I work alongside you to create personalized goals, and a flexible plan that promotes sustainable, long-term habit change.

My passions: Women’s Health & Athletes

Supporting women throughout various life stages is a personal passion that holds a special place in my heart. I am dedicated to advocating for women from their early adolescent years to the beautiful journey of motherhood (pre, peri, and postpartum), as well as the peri/postmenopausal phase and beyond. My sincere commitment lies in guiding each woman along her distinctive path.

Within the realm of women's health counseling, I place a particular emphasis on bridging nutritional gaps, delving into the underlying causes of symptoms, promoting a well-rounded physical activity regimen, fostering a positive and healthy relationship with both food and body image, and addressing any hormonal imbalances that may arise—just to touch the surface. My ultimate aim is to empower every woman to thrive in her daily life and embrace her fullest potential.

As a fellow athlete, I understand the challenges faced by active individuals. Sports nutrition is not a one-size-fits-all approach; it requires careful customization for different genders, age ranges, activity levels, goals, preferences, and lifestyles. My primary goal is to assist others in learning how to fuel their bodies optimally, perform at their best, and recover effectively.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with amazing clients of all ages, in both individual and group class settings. During this time, I have been a witness to many incredible transformations. Whether it is celebrating that he is now sleeping better and has better energy levels, or that she officially qualified for the Kona Iron Man World Championship (and everything inbetween) - no matter how big or small the feat, all of these moments make me feel incredible blessed to be a part of.
