General Wellness
General wellness counseling is for everyone and anyone looking to fine tune their current nutrition. In one-on-one meetings I will cover several topics that are applicable to your goals, such as – understanding macronutrients, optimal nutrition for blood sugar control, increasing micronutrient diversity, improving digestion health/immune system health, portion sizes and menu planning, and chronic disease prevention. A few examples of why someone may reach out for general wellness nutrition counseling are:
To improve overall health/wellness
To prepare their body for pregnancy, discuss infertility nutrition, pregnancy nutrition, breastfeeding nutrition, etc.
To make sure they are getting the proper nutrients in their current diet
To improve outcome of results achieved from physical activity
To work on improving their relationship with food and body image
